MDF Loading M.V. Evanthia
Evanthia came to port Songkhla from port Chittagong, Bangladesh, and is scheduled to leave on March 8th. Bond was to oversee the operation of loading cargo of Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). We assigned our in-house port Captain to supervise all loading operations.
This time, the challenging part was managing loading cargo in the same hold loaded with steel plates from the previous port. Despite that, our team of professionals tackled this problem by putting additional chocking so it could even out the space. Supervised by our port Captain, the operation of flat loading cargo choked by wooden dunnage was done at about 7000 cbm per day and completed within two days as planned.
Now, Evanthia is set and ready to sail to the next port, Siam Commercial. Their stevedore team is also prepared to welcome her to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient next operation.
